Filing for Office:
Municipal Elections in Wayne County are held under the Simple Plurity Election Method, and will occur on Tuesday, November 7, 2017. All 2017 Municipal & Sanitary District Election candidates must file a Notice of Candidacy with the Wayne County Board of Elections during the Candidate Filing Period. Filing fees must be paid by check or money order.

Municipal and Sanitary District Election Filing Begins - Friday, July 7, 2017 at 12:00 PM
Municipal and Sanitary District Election Filing Ends - Friday, July 21, 2017 at 12:00 PM
*Within 10 days of announcing your candidacy publicly, filing for candidacy, opening a candidate committee bank account, or accepting/spending money in support of your candidacy, a candidate must submit the Statement of Organization paperwork to the Board of Elections.
